The notarial conversion of an apartment block into an owner-occupied residential complex is subject to many regulations. Our Berlin office is located in a part of the city which is subject to the Transformation Order. Designed to protect the social environment of a neighbourhood, these regulations place restrictions on the division of apartment blocks into owner-occupied residences. We are able to meet this restrictive legal situation with a high degree of expertise.
A Success Story: In 2015 alone, we succeeded in obtaining a division of around 100 residential and commercial properties in Berlin for a foreign investor.
